In accordance with the resolution of the Ministerial Committee for Gender Equality (Woman/7), which was ratified by Government Resolution No. 3229 on December 7, 2017, it was established that the Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women was tasked with developing a national plan to address the issue of sexual harassment within Israeli society. To facilitate its formulation, the Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women established a committee to examine the phenomenon of sexual harassment in Israeli society.
